I joined the dive club a couple of years ago and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only did I have such an enjoyable time at all club events, I have made many great mates in the club and now have friends in all corners of the globe.

I’ve only been diving for three and a half years but have been around the water all my life including 15+ years experience around boats, hence volunteering to look after the club boat for the year, some even call me a young salty dog. The only thing keeping me from the calling of the sea is an engineering degree and the need for a few pennies. I very much enjoy the hunter gatherer aspect of diving hence got into spearfishing as well (mine’s bigger than Mike’s!). Also love having a feed of scallops, crays or mussels and know a few spots where to get them! I’m always open to trying new spots and will happily go on scenic dives as well. If there’s anywhere you want the club boat to go just let me know and we can sort something out.
