Dive Shack Ltd are seeking a PADI Dive Instructor with retail management experience that has the skills and characteristics to not only run a store but build a business from the base up. They have a new store which requires an individual with the passion, drive and talent to make a real difference. This is a Revenue and Profit Responsible position that requires an individual with a combination of Dive Industry experience, retail management and the charisma to attract and retain divers.

This is a multi-store environment where the Store Manager reports to an off-site Managing Director. The Store Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the store, has joint responsibility for product range selection and group marketing with the MD and other store managers. The position is also responsible for local marketing activities and training and trip management (coordinated with other stores).
This role will be salaried and will include performance based remuneration so candidates must have confidence in their ability to deliver results.

Required attributes:
* Experienced SCUBA diver
* Retail Sales experience
* Retail Management experience or other applicable business management experience
* Marketing experience and demonstrated track record in creative marketing initiatives.
* Competent computer skills including word, excel and competence with point of sale software
* Charisma, passion, drive and determination
* Doesn’t take him or herself too seriously.

Desired attributes:
* PADI Dive Master
* Or ideally PADI OWSI
* Or even better TDI instructor
* Gas blending certified
* EVE experience
* Master of Small Commercial Dive Vessel or higher
